PR friendly

There are many ways we can work together, so please do get in touch if you're interested in collaborating or have a great idea you'd like to discuss: emmajane[at]cakesandcatwalks.com – I look forward to hearing from you.

PR
Please feel free to contact me if you have a product, news or event which you think is relevant to Cakes and Catwalks – I would love to hear from you.

Please note however, that I am unlikely to respond to a cold or irrelevant approach – it really makes a difference to know you've actually read my blog (I come from a PR background, so I know how this should work). This will sound pretty obvious to most of you, but please use my actual name (I'm not called 'Jane'). Also – just copying and pasting a press release into an email with no intro is just rude (and quite frankly, lazy) – so please don't do it. Subjects I'm definitely not interested in, but have been repeatedly contacted about include:

Odd socks (yes, really)
Indonesian chewing gum
Sandwiches (well, of course I'm interested in sandwiches – but only really in the context of lunchtime)

However if you do have a relevant product, event, project or service please do get in touch, as I would love to hear from you.

Reviews:
Please do contact me if you have a product, service or event you would like me to review (baking, kitchen, or craft related). To maintain my integrity I will always review honestly on my blog – but this really shouldn't be cause for concern if you have an awesome product! Please note I will only review products which I feel are relevant to my blog and readership. I will always clearly state in the blog post if an item has been sent to me for review.

Please be aware that I will not send review or product related content to PRs or marketers for sign off before publishing on this blog. I need to protect the integrity of Cakes & Catwalks and as such retain full editorial control of everything published here.

Freelance writing and recipe development:
Please do contact me for my rates for recipe and tutorial development.

I will on occasion consider guest posts for placement on Cakes and Catwalks, although the subject, product or brand and author must be relevant to my readership.

I look forward to hearing from you!
