Hi! I'm EJ, I'm an experimental baker, crafter and knitter living in Brighton by the sea. Finding myself frustrated by the lack of pictures in Mary Berry's Baking Bible I've decided to bake every non-photographed recipe in the book and record the results here. It's made me realise how often I will only choose recipes which are accompanied by enticing images- and how much I've probably missed out on as a result.

I'm also embarking upon a bit of a style challenge - in an attempt to become frugal I'm trying to stop spending so carelessly on fashion, instead frequenting swap shops, charity shops, re-styling staple pieces and channeling my crafty side to sew new items and customise to the max.
