Events and workshops
A bit of a different post for you today with an update about events and workshops I'll be running over the next few weeks - I've added a workshops and events page with full details of up-coming events I'll have a hand in, in Kent and Sussex.
I've joined forces with Suzie Lee Knitwear to run Bank Holiday Crafternoon workshops in Kent - join us in East Farleigh on 6th May or 27th May to learn how to make your own corsage accessories and mobile phone covers - drink tea or coffee, eat cake and meet some like-minded crafters. For full details check out my workshops in May.
Being new to Ashford I've been in search of anything craft or cake related - I happened to meet the lovely Clair Heal at a business networking event, she has been working hard to create Ashford's first regular vintage and craft market. Clair's effort has paid off and the first Emporia Craft and Vintage Market is due to take place on 10th-11th May - I'll be there on Saturday 11th selling cakey goods, hand made aprons and accessories, so please do come and say hi if you visit.
Perhaps most excitingly of all - as of June I will be teaching regular cake decoration workshops at one of my favourite Brighton hang-outs Super + Super. Starting with a cupcake decoration workshop on 15th June - where beginners and those who love to bake can find out just how easy creating impressive looking cupcakes can be. You can buy tickets through Eventbrite here.
Lots of exciting things in the pipeline - and I hope to meet a few of you at these events!
